Young Entrepreneur Vicky Thapa Elected Chairman ANO Hong Kong

Young Entrepreneur Vicky Thapa Elected Chairman of Newly Formed Hong Kong Committee. The Association of Nepali Origin (ANO) successfully held its Hong Kong conference, drawing strong attention to the safety of Nepalis working in Middle Eastern countries. The gathering unanimously announced the formation of the ANO Hong Kong Committee under the leadership of young entrepreneur Mr. Vicky Thapa as Chairman.

The event was inaugurated on Saturday evening by Hong Kong District Councillor Ms. Aruna Gurung and ANO International Committee General Secretary Mr. Chudamani Bhattarai. A key resolution emphasized that regardless of birthplace or citizenship, people of Nepali origin should uphold unity and channel their collective strength toward the welfare of Nepal.

Presided over by ANO Central Member Ms. Khushi Gurung, the conference passed a special proposal urging the Government of Nepal to pay particular attention to the security of Nepalis residing in the Middle East and to take appropriate measures in light of recent global security challenges. General Secretary Bhattarai highlighted that ANO is advancing as a global campaign to connect Nepalis across generations and nations.

ANO was established in 2024 under the leadership of U.S.-based social worker Mr. Dilli Adhikari. The Hong Kong convention reaffirmed its commitment to preserving and promoting Nepali language, art, culture, traditions, and identity, ensuring their continuity and transmission to future generations.

एएनओ हङकङ सम्मेलन सम्पन्न, मध्यपूर्वमा कार्यरत नेपालीको सुरक्षाप्रति सरकारको ध्यानाकर्षण

युवा व्यवसायी विक्की थापा अध्यक्षमा निर्वाचित, नयाँ कार्यसमिति घोषणा

हङकङ – नेपाली मूलका व्यक्तिहरूको अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय संगठन एशोसिएसन अफ नेपाली ओरिजिन (एएनओ) को हङकङ सम्मेलन भव्य रूपमा सम्पन्न भएको छ। सम्मेलनले मध्यपूर्वका मुलुकमा कार्यरत नेपालीहरूको सुरक्षाप्रति नेपाल सरकारको ध्यानाकर्षण गराउँदै विशेष प्रस्ताव पारित गरेको छ।

सम्मेलनले युवा व्यवसायी विक्की थापाको अध्यक्षतामा हङकङ कमिटी घोषणा गरेको छ। हङकङ सरकारकी डिस्ट्रिक्ट काउन्सिलर अरुणा गुरुङ र एएनओ अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय कमिटीका महासचिव चूडामणि भट्टराईले शनिबार साँझ सम्मेलनको उद्घाटन गर्नुभएको थियो।

सभापतित्व एएनओकी केन्द्रीय सदस्य खुसी गुरुङले गर्नुभएको सम्मेलनले विश्वका जुनसुकै मुलुकमा जन्मे हुर्के पनि वा जुनसुकै नागरिकता बोके पनि नेपाली मूलको पहिचानलाई एकताबद्ध गर्दै नेपालको हितमा प्रयोग गर्नुपर्ने प्रस्ताव पारित गर्यो। महासचिव भट्टराईले एएनओ संसारभरका नेपालीलाई पुस्ता र मुलुकको भिन्नताभन्दा माथि उठेर जोड्ने अभियानका रूपमा अघि बढिरहेको बताए।

एएनओ सन् २०२४ मा अमेरिका निवासी समाजसेवी डिल्ली अधिकारीको नेतृत्वमा स्थापना भएको हो। हङकङ अधिवेशनले नेपाली भाषा, कला, संस्कृति, रीतिरिवाज तथा पहिचानको निरन्तरता र पुस्तान्तरणको अभियानलाई सशक्त रूपमा अघि बढाउने घोषणा गरेको छ।
